You need to calculate your daily consumption so that you would know how much calories would your body need to gain the weight you desire. After you get the answer, begin increase the calories so that you can put on weight. It is recommended to gain weight little by little in a healthy way. In the early stage, add about 500 calories a day to your diet and see whether it can improve your current weight. If you want to get exercise or do bodybuilding, you can add more calories. Intake higher calories by choosing the food that are high in calories and also healthy. Make sure you eat 5-6 meal s each day. Remember those professional bodybuilders. They separate 3 meals to 6 small meals. The food they intake will digest better and are good for building muscles and gaining weight. Drink plenty of milk, or protein shakes to add extra calories each meal if you don’t have time for eating or cooking. They are high in nutrients and good for your overall body. You also need a good source of carbohydrate like whole grains. It is best to cook and prepare each meal by yourself.
